Re: Pianoteq midi harp

Yeah, just came here to post this project - Love it.

A dad makes his daughter a concert-like harp with Pianoteq, wood/short guitar strings and strain gauges for plucking - using an array of Arduinos (1 per each 9 strings) - quite a cool project made possible in part by Pianoteq's Harp instrument

I'm happy with the piano sounds in Pianoteq using my keyboard in a fairly conventional way but people taking things to another level like within the article are always fun to learn about and from. Kudos.

Yes, it's a perfect showcase of the versatility of the Pianoteq software. This dad has some good building skills too.
I'm a builder myself and builds like this one really put a smile on my face

Re: Pianoteq midi harp

Yep, some tight skills put to great use there

The Hackaday website has been pushing out these marvellous DIY project ideas for so many years now - just love to see this Pianoteq based MIDI harp project in my feed.

Have worked with wood in the past, not too deeply with attached devices like these Arduinos and such - but really does make one ponder making 'something' some day.

Definitely this made my day - cheers MrR
