Topic: File menu on the MAC version of Pianoteq 6

Hi, this may be a dumb question, but I just switched from a PC to a MAC. I want to export my midi recordings as wav files and cannot see the File menu along the top of the stand alone interface. Am I missing something? Am I able to export my recordings as wav files from a MAC, or Is it PC only?

On a Macintosh computer like mine, you have within your File menu selections “Export to audio file” at the very bottom of those menu choices.  Command-e is your key command to exported audio files.

Pianoteq 8 Studio Bundle, Pearl malletSTATION EM1, Roland (DRUM SOUND MODULE TD-30, HandSonic 10, AX-1), Akai EWI USB, Yamaha DIGITAL PIANO P-95, M-Audio STUDIOPHILE BX5, Focusrite Saffire PRO 24 DSP.

From my iMac: File, Export to Wav file.  Or: Command-E.

It's so easy to forget that the menu system on OS X is always on the top of the desktop and not part of the lowest level window.

Edit: You beat me to it Amen Ptah Ra!

Hi, and thanks for the quick responses. I appreciate the help.

I did forget that the menu is at the top of the desktop in a MAC...I guess I have a lot more to remember and learn.

Thanks again,

Export your performance as a midi file first.  give it a name.  Then, export as an audio file - click the Browse and see your named midi file.  Then when you export as an audio file to desk top or wherever you choose.
