Topic: Feature request (incl. voting): midi loop

Hallo to all fellow piano lovers (and the PTQ-crew),

currently I'm working on a difficult part, where I play the right hand only, whilst listening to the midi-recording of the left.
As far as I have figured out, PTQ doesn't offer a loop mode for the midi file.
It would be of great help to have looping. That way, I can play that right hand part over and over again. Until I finally got it ;-)

I second that!

And it would be great if we could set loop points too, to loop only a certain part of a midi file, instead of looping the complete file.

Music was my first love. And it will be my last. Music of the future. And music of the past (John Miles)

Ableton Live has the ability to loop what you play so that any silence before you start playing and after you stop playing (and fumble for the stop button) is chopped away. This works better with a metronome of course, but I don’t see why Modarrt should not implement a metronome as well. The ability to export your playing to a soundfile means that you can use Pianoteq as a complete recording environment for tracks that can be used in a DAW later.
