Topic: Chickering 1908 Concert Grand

For those of you interested in older pianos (or indeed nocturnes), here's a rather nice John Field nocturne played by the great (no bias here :-) ) Irish pianist  John O'Conor on a restored Chickering 1908 concert grand.  Some decent overhead views of the keyboard, but no detail on the piano itself.  Details on the process of that piano's restoration are available in the second video (unless they restored yet another 1908 Chickering).

Very much enjoyed this sjgicit, thanks - it's a piano I think sounds very familiar and inviting, as though I've heard recordings of it. Love the soundboard/ribs esp.
