Fascinating and inventive impressionistic piece, especially in its beautiful second half and haunting ending. I like this better than some of Debussy's solo piano pieces.

It seems remarkable that you could compose something with labor and care that seems so spontaneous, and just as remarkable and impressive if you are able to improvise with no apparent "mistakes," lapses or awkwardness.
