Topic: Problem with audio export in Dorico Pro 2

I just downloaded the last pianoteq version. I was exporting a work I did in Dorico Pro 2 for a client, with the Steingraeber piano, but no matter how I try, the recording gets stuck at 98%.  I had to force quit Dorico and use another virtual instrument to fulfill the needs of my client — this is why I write it here and not in the Dorico forum. Has anyone had any problem like that ?

Re: Problem with audio export in Dorico Pro 2

I have Dorico Pro 2 on OS X. I just created a piano project with a few notes in it, which I set to play through the latest pianoteq w/ Steingraeber.  I exported audio without problems.  But it was a very short file.

If your project is piano solo, did you try exporting midi from Dorico and then playing through with pianoteq?

Re: Problem with audio export in Dorico Pro 2

Dear smulloni,
The project plays perfectly with any virtual instrument. The only problem I have is when I try to export audio. As a matter of fact, it's not only with Pianoteq. With a Kontakt piano, I could not get further than 7%
It is not a complicated file (Haendel aria) nor very long, like 5 minutes… I did report all this on the Dorico forum too, as I'm leaning towards a problem from Dorico after all.
Paul Walmsey from Dorico has started to help me, changing the audio engine buffer from 512 to 1024 samples helped the app to perform the export with the Pianoteq plug-in, but still got stuck with The Grandeur. By the way, I notice that the very first note of the recording is not full, I thought these problems had been solved since one week after Pianoteq 6.0 Maybe this problem is related to Dorico Pro 2, and not Pianoteq.
