Topic: Configure Pianoteq to respond to only one MIDI channel?

Is there a way to cause Pianoteq to recognize and respond to the data of only one MIDI channel of a MIDI stream (such as the MIDI output of an external MIDI keyboard or device that transmits more than one MIDI channel via the same MIDI or USB connection) or MIDI file, rather than to all MIDI channels (1-16) at the same time?

Let's say that a MIDI file loaded into Pianoteq's MIDI player, or a MIDI stream routed to Pianoteq, contains information in several MIDI channels (from 16 available MIDI channels). Let's say that channel 1 data is composed of notes intended for a piano sound, channel 2 contains the bass part (notes intended for a bass guitar sound for example), and channel 10 contains the drum part (channel 10 by convention is used for drumkit or percussion parts in which the tonal frequency of every MIDI note represents a different percussion sound, such as snare drum (triggered by perhaps C0), bass drum (perhaps E0), hi-hat, cymbal (perhaps F0), etc.).

Is there any way to cause Pianoteq to respond only to the MIDI data (notes played) on channel 1 (the notes intended for piano)?

Try this:
File -> Audio/Midi setup - > Midi -> (at the bottom of the window) Notes Channel -> *choose the channel you need*

Yes, that is so simple, works perfectly, and is a thoughtful feature added to Pianoteq by the developers. Thank you very much for mentioning and suggesting this feature.
