Topic: using pianoteq live

Forgive my lack of proficiency but would someone be able to tell me how to route my keyboard via Pteq to an amp?
Thanks!

Re: using pianoteq live

You need an audio interface.    The audio interface will connect to your computer and hence Pianoteq, typically with USB connection.  The interface will have outputs to connect to an amp.  The midi signal from your keyboard to needs to get to your computer and either via standard MIDI cables to the audio interface, or through USB, if you keyboard has USB out.    There are many audio interfaces available e.g. Focusrite 2i4, Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6.   This webpage has a basic description:

I don't find that I need an audio interface as I find the output from my headphone jack on my laptop works just fine. There are times I use an audio interface such as when I have a keyboard with one built in but otherwise I just send the headphone out to the amp.

That headphone jack is a part of your laptop's built-in audio interface.
