Topic: Edit undo/redo + "snapshot" question

Just wondering about a little detail.... so i have several knobs & sliders on my keyboard assigned to parameters in pianoteq. When i move a slider or knob, it changes the corresponding parameter, and adds an entry to the undo/redo stack. BUT - when i use the "snapshot" command on my keyboard, which sends all the slider states at once, it only adds one entry to the undo/redo stack, which undoes/redoes all these changes at once.

So i was just wondernig, does pianoteq measure the delay between changes to decide if it makes a single entry with several changes, or is there some midi "bulk" command that basically says "ok, here's a bunch of different parameters coming"....?

Hi Delt, as you have guessed, Pianoteq is just merging consecutive changes that happen in a small timespan as a single entry in the undo stack

Re: Edit undo/redo + "snapshot" question

Ah, thanks for your reply that makes sense, because even changing one knob or slider is in fact a series of small changes... it would be kind of annoying to have to undo/redo each of those small changes in succession.
