Topic: New piano pictured in the site header
Just curious, what brand and model is it?
Pianoteq 5 STD+blüthner, Renoise 3 • Roland FP-4F + M-Audio Keystation 88es
Intel i5@3.4GHz, 16GB • Linux Mint xfce 64bit

It's the same image as on the main Pianoteq website (which was there for quite some time now), except it's a different perspective.
Yeah, they changed it on the main site a while ago, and now just recently put a different picture of what looks like the same piano on the forum site. Just wondering what brand/model piano that is.

There is no brand... it is a 3D model
gjoly: wow, nice!! did you create it?? Anyway it looks fantastic on both site headers !!
Is the model 3D printable? That should be the next phase of Pianoteq. Build custom FXPs, preview what it sounds like -- and then print it to make an acoustic!

YEAH, ...if you can find a big enough printer ....select a piano sound, and then 3D-print a whole piano with that sound!!!

Yes.
It is sometimes better to make a 3D render than taking a shot, knowing all the constraints: perspective, lightning, focus, lens aberration...
A dark lacquered piano is probably the worst subject for a phototgrapher. It is almost impossible to do a good shot, mainly because of undesired reflections.
