Topic: Change volume of note just once in a piece

Hi,

Apologies for the naive question as I'm new to pianoteq. I want to edit a single note just once in time in my piece without the repetitions of this note experiencing the same volume change. Similar to what you can do in garage band. How can I do this?

I've been reading the manual and played around with the software for the past 30 min but couldn't figure it out... .

Many thanks!

Re: Change volume of note just once in a piece

Do you want to change the volume of an already recorded music. If you do, the precise operation would depend of your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) used to edit the recorded MIDI file.

I see 2 options : changing the velocity of the note (it is not the same as the volume, but perhaps it is what you want) or change the volume before the note, and change it back to the previous value after the note (it won't work if a chord is played)
