For some reason all of a sudden I'm asked to activate pianoteq after being a user for some time now.Well I went thru the steps of activation and had it working again........but if I close the program and try to reopen it again I have to start the whole process all over again....so what gives?

What OS are you using? Might be wrong permissions on your home directory, or lack of disk space.... those two reasons come to mind, off the top of my head....
Using Win 8 with plenty of disk space.....also I only use this laptop for mostly pianoteq and not my main computer.
yuck...windowz.... the problem could be anything then, probably something to do with the "system registry". Best bet is to wait for someone from Modartt to answer this thread, or contact them directly.
Or even better, ditch windows and use either linux or a mac.
I hope it's a isolated issue because I play Pianoteq on stage and it's a real disaster if that happens in a gig.
