Topic: Casio PX-150 and pianoteq

Hi everyone.  This is my first post.  I'm ordering a casio PX-150 next Wednesday and intending to order an external speaker next months--an ElectroVoice ZXA-1.  The PX-150 doesn't have an dedicated output for audio out, so the headphone jack is used.  Reports at pianoworld and the manual say this works fine.

In the tutorial for pianoteq it says that an audio out must come from the computer and into the keyboard.  I will have the external speaker plugged into the headphones jack which automatically turns off the px-150 speakers, but how do I get an audio in to the keyboard.

I'm not very tech savvy, but I do have the ability to learn.  All help appreciated.

Thanks,

Don

You cannot plug audio in the PX150 but you don't have to do it either: simply plug the output of the computer into the ZXA-1, that's it. From the PX150 you only need a MIDI (or MIDI via USB) connection to the computer.
