Topic: every character i type i get four

Hi guys. Thought i would find an answer to this searching forums. If its in an obvious place i apologize. My eyes are not so good.

No, i don't have quadruple vision.

When i save stuff in your program whatever i type gets multiplied four times. Cannot erase 3 of the four letters on the words of my desired name either. Back arrow deletes unpredictably also. I can go into notepad and cut and paste a decent name...but it pastes 4 of the new name and then i must delete three, by placing my cursor to the left of the last one, to keep it.

What i was hoping was to be able to create a midi options file that will load when i enter ableton and open my DAW file.

It does not work. Minimalistic is the default file and i can't overwrite it.

I don't see an option in prefs to change this and so load my personal midi options.

These are two main issues.

1) help make my typing work when saving files in your pgm.
2) help me not need to change to my personal midi options when loading into DAW for a performance.

I have the same issue with pianoteq registering every keystroke 4 times.. it was a real PITA registering it.
Anyone else having this issue?

Can you confirm that this happens only in Ableton Live on Windows ? We have just updated version 4.5.4 to address keyboard issues with Live on windows.

@julien: I just tested it in the standalone version and the VST in Live and the problem still occured....  but then I installed the updated 4.5.4 since I had another issue with pianoteq in Live and now everything works!

I was a little confused since you updated from 4.5.4 to another 4.5.4 with just the date change, but anyway. Great work, thank you!

edit: btw, the old version had the problem only in Live. The standalone version always worked fine.
