The hair style of the formal man in our civilization come from something from Romans (the guys who suposed killed a nice good fellow with long hair in a cross) style of short hair. We see such hair in many religious people, despite be a copy of roman style, while long hair is saw by many religious like a outlaw habbit.
The same with clothes, as the tunics are not well received, while suits (somewhat a copy of uniforms) are said to be civilized and formal. And for shave, also a roman practice, and took as a civilized man's habit today.
Someone with long hair, beard, and tunic, is saw as a crazy or drugged, by police or by religious people.
I have a cousin who is Jehova Witness, and he don't even have birthday party or presentes in his day.
So, in this case you can only blackmail someone in change of pianoteq.
