Topic: Midi "any" does not work

I am running 4.5.1 Standard (Linux 32 bit) and I find that selecting Options->Note channel->any channel does not work.   For example, the sample midi file "Schumann Kreisterlana Op 16" does not make sound unless I select channel 4 which is the channel used by that file.  Am I missing something or is this a bug?
