Topic: Continuous Sustain Pedal for Kurzweil PC1SE/PC1X?
I use my Kurzweil PC1SE to play Pianoteq, but so far I've only used the off/on sustain pedal that came with the keyboard. The PC1SE, which is basically the same as a PC1X but with 76-key weighted action, also has a continuous pedal input, but I don't know what model pedal will work with it and Pianoteq.
Looking at a previous post (http://www.forum-pianoteq.com/viewtopic.php?id=2324), it looks like people are successfully using the Roland DP-10 with newer Kurzweil keyboards, so I think there's a good chance it will work with my PC1SE. That said, I'd sure love to hear from someone else who has tried this.
I have an older Roland sustain pedal (unknown model), but it has a TS 1/4" connector, so I doubt it's continuous. I also have a Roland EV-5 expression pedal with a 1/4 TRS connector, so I could test with that (I'll try that tomorrow), but it's not a spring-loaded sustain pedal so it's not a long-term solution.
Thanks in advance for any advice/input.
