Topic: All quiet in FXP Corner - A good sign ?

It appears that Pianoteq has turned a corner.

I am interpreting the lack of activity in FXP Corner to be a sign that users no longer have a need for special fxp user creations.   The ones found in Pianoteq are good enough on their own or with very little tweaking.

Any other interpretation ?

Quite possible.
Another possibility is that the FXP files already there are good/good-enough/about-as-good-as-the-experimenters-can-get-them.  I have found a lot of the PTQ-3 FXP contributions to be quite enjoyable too.

OTOH, if I had just one PHYSICAL Bosendorfer, Steinway, Yamaha C7... whatever else... I probably would just PLAY it and not be mucking around under the hood to get it to sound more like something else.

As the saying goes; "Sit down, shut up and PLAY"  {something like that}
