Topic: Bluethner based FXP - what do you think?

Hi Folks,

(between diapers :-)) I've had a few minutes to listen to bluthner recordings, and was inspired to added some brighness (EQ) and bigger reverb. I'm quite happy with the result - I think it sounds very vivid, realistic, and emphasizes the character of this fascinating model.

Again - thank you Mordatt - you keep amazing us. Problem with each new step of realism, that the old models loose their charm. Now the "old" YC5 seems out-dated - still great for power chords, but not so much for single notes (similarly the K1).

I've put the FXP up under "Bluthner Bright Concert Recording", using for a demo Ravel's  Alborada del Gracioso by Wen-Yin Chan (http://www.piano-e-competition.com/midi_2002.asp)

Re: Bluethner based FXP - what do you think?

I downloaded this preset and tried to add it to my PT/STAGE 4.2 by dragging the file icon onto the PT interface.  Nothing happened.

Do I need to get the Bluethner add-on  and/or  upgrade to PT/STANDARD ?

Thanks,

Hi Allan,

I do not own (yet) the bluethner addon. I'm not sure stage accepts fxp's ...
