Topic: Renaming Presets

Been digging deeper into Pteq Pro and have started using it live w/ PrgmChng messages, etc.
Got some excellent sounds so I am extremely happy, but I want to rename the presets, so I choose th option and the old preset name (under purple ) is showing so I delete it and see the Cursor ready for letters/numbers from my QWERTY, but I press the keys and nothing writes in the blank space.
I am quite sure this is something I am doing wrong, but I cannot troubleshoot to find the reason.
Any suggestions..?

Re: Renaming Presets

Well I guess this isn't a popular concept of creating your own presets, but thought I'd share this bit of news.

It's the only magazine I buy, the same guys have been telling it like it is for years ther, here's just another example.

Re: Renaming Presets

Thanks Nick. It's too bad as SOS has a good review of PTeq 4.0.
Thanks for the link.

Re: Renaming Presets

It's host related as it worls fine in standalone.
Reaper won;t remember the CCs but after editing and saving in Standalone it retian the name, I simply add the MIDI CCs after loading the host. There's only 4 so if I can't do that I am jut plain lazy.
I did tell Reaper but that have dozens of loopers pestering them on other issues more improtnat than this.

Thanks for the fast support and a great instrument.
