Topic: Best Speaker/Amp Setup For Playing For An Audience ??

Was wondering what is the best sounding for you and audience ... Powered mixer and speakers?? Powered Speakers?? Brands..models...??.. I have a couple Bose Compacts that I have not tried with Pianoteq yet...and now with 4 !!!

Usually 10 to 100 people in quiet to loud situations (as usual)

I have a MacBook Pro and can use a GEM pRP7 or Casio PX-330 and either  my Ultralite or Presonus 44 in the mix..

Thanks

I'm using a Yamaha Stagepas 500 system, but I've been told by sound guys that the larger the monitors, the better. On the other hand, I've played the previous version through powered monitors that were only 6" or so, and it sounded good. But I do encourage people to listen through monitors--to me, the sound needs room to develop.

Like Jake said the Yamaha system is a good choice.
You might also look into the JBL EON system.

Stick with name brands like Yamaha, JBL, Mackie and you can't go wrong.
