Topic: Pianoteq as a plugin

I would like to investigate running Pianoteq as a plugin using VSTHOST.

The first step would seem to be determining if I have the Pianoteq plugin on my computer.   I looked for a DLL file but didn't find one.

What am I looking for ?

AND ... as long as I am on the topic .... Is there a better alternative to VSTHOST for my investigation ?     I prefer FREE but a modest cost would be considered.

make a research for "Pianoteq.dll", and copy it into your VST folder; that should work.

BTW, you don't need any VST host since Pianoteq can run stand alone as well...

otherwise I would keep VSThost, it seems all right.

Did you install the plugin allso or just the standalone ?
The dll should be in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Vstplugins
