Topic: 32-bit or 64-bit?

I went to download the new Reaper and noticed they have 2 versions, 32-bit and 64-bit. I also see that Pianoteq is available in 32 and 64 bit versions for Windows, but unspecified for the Mac download.

So, is Pianoteq 3.6.7 for Mac 32 or 64 bit?

Is my machine 32 or 64 bit? It's a 13-inch Macbook Pro from last year, running Snow Leopard 10.6.8. All I could find in the system profiler was "64-bit Kernel and Extensions: No." That plus a little googling leads me to believe it's 32 bit, but I want to make sure from someone who actually knows a thing or two about it.

Also, does 64 bit have any advantage over 32 bit as far as recording input? Or is it just advantageous when adding effects?

Re: 32-bit or 64-bit?

The main advantage of 64 bit is to be able to use more RAM, for Pianoteq, it is not really a great point, but your Mac is 64 bit anyway, AFAIK
