Topic: I/O's for PTeq Pro.

Just wanted to say how nice the GUI and mic positioning tool is.
Its really a quality plug in by itself.
What's the chances of having inputs on PianoTeq Pro where we could use the Mic Modeler on other sample libraries....
I think these massive instruments with their mic positions are incredibly wasteful.
I understand having 8 different banks of samples increases the size of the instrument might make one feel the GB size has more value, but I for one never use them because in the final mix, I dont want to base my mixes around some mic position someone else thought relevant.
Just daydreaming as I prep for the gig tonight.

Re: I/O's for PTeq Pro.

Better idea: develop an effect plugin which would take Pianoteq's room and mic modeling a step further:

* design your own room (wall materials, shape of the room, etc.)
* position the instruments (=inputs) in that room
* change the microphone characteristics
* arbitrary number of microphones
* surround quality (x.1 outputs)

How about that?

Hard work and guts!

Re: I/O's for PTeq Pro.

Indeed, I would love that too.
I look forward ti Nick Phoenixs' new device, but your idea is way extreme.
Then again so am I.
So when can you have it ready for me....

Ankyu.
