Topic: False positive with Pianoteq.exe [confirmed false].

Hello

I am a registered user of Pianoteq play and this morning when opening a Reaper project that contains Pianoteq my AV (Antivir) found a trojan in Pianoteq.exe: TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen2

Has this happened to other users and could this be a false positive? How can I make sure?

Thanks

Yes this is a false positive, avira antivir is the only AV to report it (since yesterday):

Thank you Julien for your prompt reply. Feel free to delete my post unless you think it might be useful to other users.

I got the same problem yesterday on v.3.6.3, but only in a Vista install - no detection in Win 7! This also occurs with previous Pianoteq builds (3.6.2, 3.6.1).

=> Today I downloaded and bought Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 to replace Avira AntiVir Premium...
