Topic: crazy latency

I have been a licensed Pianoteq user for years and it never had been a problem... until a couple days ago.
I've been running  on a MacBook Pro, 2.3 GHZ Quad Core Mac OSX Sequoia 15.7.4  with no  latency problems until a few days ago.
I checked cabling and made some "progress" with but I never had latency before, and now I have 2 or 3 full seconds of latency on the output.
Any suggestions?

Assuming there is no issue on the midi to audio routing or issue with any keyboard or midi controller you may be using many audio issues of these king on Mac can be fixed by resetting NVRAM (  hold option - ctrl - P -R and boot) as the audio settings are stored in NVRAM, so resetting may help . Another possibility could be corrupted in  audio preferences with com.apple.audio. If you delete this file and restart , a new one will be created.  You didn't mention if you use an external audio interface ;if that's the case , that creates other possibilities for troubleshooting.

If it's only a Pianoteq issue, or every audiunit / standalone software, we could look forward.
But for the moment, you give good advice.
