Topic: PT9 - GuitarDuo - Ferdinando Carulli: Romanze Nr 6 Opus 333 - Binaural
Binaural mix: For optimal sound, please use headphones.
Ferdinando Carulli (1770-1841) was a famous Italian composer and guitar virtuoso. He lived in Naples, Italy, and, beginning in 1808, in Paris, France. He worked as a respected teacher, virtuoso, and composer. He composed over 300 musical works, including solo pieces, concertos, and chamber music.
Romance No. 6, Opus 333, is a charming piece for classical guitar duo. The two guitars engage in an equal dialogue, with melodic lines and rhythmic passages alternating between the players. The composition is characterized by the elegant lightness of the early Romantic period and avoids heavy dissonances.
