Topic: Humble impro on Steinway D Pianoteq

I sat down to improvise for a bit the other day and this somewhat nostalgic piece came out. I used the Pianoteq Steinway Model D, aiming for a wide yet very warm sound. I love how this audio engine allows the performance to breathe. Any feedback or comments on the sound or the execution are more than welcome!

I would have loved to have these sounds years ago when we played live with the trio. Back then, the sound was total junk compared to the quality of Pianoteq—it was just so flat.

I started out with the Standard version, then moved up to Pro, and now I have the Studio bundle because every single instrument has something to offer, with thousands of tweaks to play around with and enjoy.

Thanks Niclass Fogwall and your team!

Hello Emilio and welcome to this forum,

Beautiful! I hope you will do more music like this. The flow is there, you didn’t  stop and that is the trick. Give nice feelings and spacious playing, some nice unexpected harmonics.
Thanks for this moment!

Best wishes,

Stig

P S I was thinking of a piece I made that is a bit like yours. If interested listen. Attach it here
