Topic: Question:blue color in part the slider bars?

Getting acquainted with Pianoteq and it is stunning so far.

Can anyone please explain what the blue color represents in certain presets in the slider bars?
to the left and right of where the actual slider dot is there is a blue color.

Example: C. Bechstein DG Felt 1 preset

The Unison width slider has a short blue line to the left and right of the slider dot.
Hammer noise slider bar also.

I would upload a screenshot here, but I can't figure out how to insert an image into this post. (The 'Images' link at the top of this page?)

Thank you!

Hi, it is the range of humanization. From section 8.4. "Strike point" in the manual:

A special humanization feature allows the strike point to vary as if it was played by a human musician. This feature is particularly suitable for the chromatic percussion instruments. Right click on the Strike point slider and select Humanize. You can adjust the range of the random variation on both sides of the mean strike point.

Also works with many more sliders as you saw!
