Re: F. Schubert piano sonate D. 568
I have never heard this before! Such a pleasure to watch and listen to you. You bring the spirit of Schubert alive. Splendid rendition.
And what a beautiful sound. You are playing forte and piano and everything between. You have probably a keyboard with very good touch response - you play soft or loud according to the strength of your playing. Wonderful what a wide range of expression from delicate to powerful tones.
Thank you Paul for sharing your music. Listening to your playing is a priviledge for us all here in the forum.
And! The ending, wonderful soft slow....and after the last tone it was like I still felt the music until you took your hands away so I couldn't see them, then the piece ended! Thank you!
Best wishes,
Stig

Thank you Stig.
I played, year ago, the D960 sonata, the last one, which is much more know than this D. 568. It has a very "Wiener" spirit, but nonetheless, it's full of tragedy and in a way, hope.
Love it when people with the sensibility of you, are touched by this music.. Very much appreciated
warm regards

Great recording Paul!
It is so well interpretated, if you compare it to a recording of Daniel Barenboim:

I prefer your interpretation, because your tempo is more moderate and it sounds more intimate! Professionals today trend to higher tempi which I personally don´t like very much.
Which of Pianoteq`s piano voices are you using for your recordings?
