Topic: Trouble with Positive/Grand Orgue pedal

I have been using my sustain pedal (It is the switch type) as the Pos./G.O pedal and it always worked just fine, whenever I pressed the pedal, it triggered the organ pedal, whenever I released it, the organ pedal also released, but with this new 2.1.0 (29/10/2024) update, this became impossible for some reason, every time I try to set my sustain pedal, i get the message "MIDI Learn failed to assign controller 64 / Channel1 to Coupler switch 4. Please try again and make sure to move the same controller twice, first on, then off."

I am have been trying to figure it out and it has been very stressful. Any solutions to set a switch sustain pedal as a Pos./G.O pedal?

Re: Trouble with Positive/Grand Orgue pedal

Can you manually set it in the Action Mapping?  (I'm able to set Controller 64 to Coupler 4 manually.)  If it works for you, then it must be a new bug with MIDI Learn, otherwise, there's something unique about your situation--be it the MIDI interface, operating system, or another factor.  So, if you can't set it manually, could you please provide us a little more info so that the forums can help you?  Or, if you want help directly from Modartt (instead of the community), you can write a support email to them directly through the site.

Omg thank you so much, if only I knew it was that simple...you saved me from a lot of further stressing. Thanks and have a great day!
