Topic: I would like Steinway with this sound

Hi,

I would like a Steinway in PTQ with this same magical Bell and attack :

THE new BOSEN 280 is near perfect, but still missing something. Hope for new Steinway(s) in Pianoteq 9.

Regards,

Re: I would like Steinway with this sound

I am an amateur and like to experiment. I immediately thought that I will try to help by modifying the Ptq D to get close to VI LABS MODERN D or Synchron.

But then I thought, if he likes Synchron or VI LABS, why does he want to have the same sounding piano from the Pianoteq too?  Then he has two exactly the same sounding pianos that sounds good with massive range in both timbre and volume…why have two pianos with the same sound?  Probably a stupid question but….
So I stopped my experiment.

But thanks for the music, beautiful playing.

Best wishes,

Stig

I share your thoughts. Magnificent playing but his comments sounded (to me) like going to a Michelin starred restaurant and saying "my compliments to the chef but ask him if he can make that dish exactly the way chef x does at his restaurant. "
