Topic: How My Heart Sings (Pianoteq)

here's a tune by Earl Zindars made famous by Bill Evans.  it's a lovely melody and progression.  i only made a few changes (the biggest is doing it in 4 instead of 3, hopefully not too heretical ...) really a beautiful composition

You said…… ”i only made a few changes (the biggest is doing it in 4 instead of 3,)     - Well, not a bad thing at all - on the contrary, I listened to versions on YT and no one played like you did. This is beautiful, nice harmonies and something special! Could be this version is the best take ever because of your changes. Anyway it is unique!
Can't help but always mention the ending - a slightly longer end this time, 3,27 - 3,52,   25 seconds. Very elegant with nice flow!
Thank you budo. Listening is always interesting. Always waiting for next one

All the best,

Stig

thank you Stig i really appreciate it.  i'm glad you didn't find the change from 3 to 4 too strange.  one could say it's out of bounds since the tune already goes from 3 to 4 in the middle, so now that contrast disappears.  but the jazz police didn't track me down yet so i think it's ok   i'm glad you found it a unique performance!
