Topic: Does pianoteq use touch acceleration and 14 bits velocity ?

On Yamaha CLP keyboards, velocity is recorded on 14 bits (velocity and expanded velocity controller 88) and touch acceleration on 7 bits (controller 19).

Will piano teq take them both into account (from midi file) to generate a sound ?

CC#88 messages are taken into consideration by pianoteq for extended resolution of velocity  values of Note- on and Note-off messages. You can select this feature in Options/Midi/Dialect drop down menu.  Not sure about CC#19 as I am under the impression that this is a Yamaha proprietary implementation.
