Topic: Piano and Strings 2

Second collection of Piano and Strings. Pacing is more deliberate here and about twice as long with phases being held longer. The piano and strings are more equal perhaps and overall the dynamic range in the songs are greater and finally the cello and contrabass section is removed. NY Steinway Classical used.

Here are a couple that I like the most:

Nice work with strings /piano. I like the first minute in Departed, made an impression on me, and in Moments I like volume in 00.2 sec and 0.10 for strings, there are strings louder.
Overall, I would raise the volume for the strings more. That's how my mix would be. Think there could be more sound from them. But otherwise the compositions are interesting.

As a swedish talking I dont know if depth is the right word, but to me your music has more in it than plain and simple pleasure to the ears. I mean, I like the music because to me it is easy to listen to.

Thanks for sharing ken,  (but try to raise the volume of the strings

Best wishes,

Stig

Hi Stig,

Very good feedback thank you very much. Glad that you like them, I will experiment with an increase in volume for the strings in the next round.

Thanks!
Ken
