Topic: Mamoru Fujieda, Pattern of Plants in Werckmeister No. 3 tuning
Here's another project I've started which takes advantage of Pianoreq's ability to change tuning. Fujieda (b. 1955) has composed a number of pieces based on bioelectric fluctuations of various plants, from which he extracted melodies from the sonic data, collectively called Pattern of Plants and grouped into collections of four pieces each. He published a subset of the pieces for piano, and requests that the piano be tuned in Werckmeister No. 3, a tuning commonly used in Bach's time that has more perfect fifths than the standard equal temperament (technical details in Wikipedia).
This piece is No. XVII, Pattern A from the Fifth collection of Patterns of Plants.
