Topic: The advanced jazz harmonies of Ravel: Pavane pour une énfante defunte

Hi, friends!
This is my rendition of this beautiful Ravel composition.
By analyzing it closely I noticed how much modern jazz harmony owes to classical composers like Ravel.
In future I would like to write down the harmony from a jazz player point of view.
Ciao from Italy!

Maybe this is just a pet peeve of mine: when I find a new youtube channel and the video has an extended intro of nothingness telling me to like and subscribe and ding that notification bell before I've even seen any actual content, I tend not to.  It's better to put the content first and (if you must) put the instruction to like and subscribe and ding that notification bell at the end.

lovely performance of this beautiful piece!  i think the importing of Ravel into jazz was really due to Herbie Hancock.  he always listed Ravel as one of his main harmonic influences.
