Topic: Distribution of stops over 3 manuals

Organteq2 is a big step forward, more stops and the total number of stops increased. The sound remains impressive. A good organ for practice and study.

I was looking for a way to distribute stops in different number per manual deviating from 10/20/10/10 going from recit to pedal which places a heavy accent on the GO. Take for instance the Paris, Saint Clotilde 1859 situation where one has (in the same order)  10/14/14/8, or Caen, Abbaye-aux-Hommes  13/15/10/10.  Both seem to be more in equilibrium.

Is this possible within the current version, or could this be considered as a feature request for a later version?

Analog Heyligers E1 organ, 13 stops, 2 manuals + pedal
December 2018 extension: third manual and midi
Software Organteq, GrandOrgue, Sweelinq

Unfortunately not.
The stop numbers 10 / 20 / 10 / 10 are the maximum values for the respective divisions. Lower stop numbers are of course possible

And that is surprising. The on-screen position of a stop icon indicates the associated manual. Some Cavaillé Coll organs are known to deviate from this coupling.
Maarschalkerweerd organs often use color for stops to manual at various position. Organteq could do the same when screen surface would be a limit. It already uses color for for pushed keys (when this option is set).

It's something our developers could consider for a next update or version where we could have flexible stop jambs and stop spreading. 20 stops on the great really does offer some punch, but it would be nice to float the console in a way that the swell could have further stops, great could be a little less and choir could benefit from more, basically a flexible stop routing and jamb design. Currently, you can remove stops from a given division and organise them, but you can't expand upon for the swell and choir.

It was a long while ago I wanted to see organteq double it's stop list to a 20 stop per division, nearly there lol but it would really show a console with some expansion.
