Topic: Help with DAW getting attack and tail from different pianos

I have 2 instruments opened on Ableton (separate tracks), the one is a Kontakt sampled piano and the other is Pianoteq.

My goal is to be able to play both (arm both tracks) and get the attack of the sampled piano (first 400ms) in addition to the tail of Pianoteq, I'd like to prevent both pianos from overlapping, it should sound as natural as possible.

Any ideas where to start from? I've tried sidechaining, compressors etc but cannot get to a real solution.

Thanks in advance,
David

Does ableton have an amplitude envelope utility? Because that’s what you’re looking for.
