Topic: Selling my Pianoteq 8 Standard License

Hello fellow musicians,

I want to sell my Pianoteq 8 Standard License with Grand Steinway D (New York), Grand Steinway D (Hamburg), Grand YC5 and Upright U4 instrument packs.

As I bought a very good stage piano a few month ago I don't really play virtual Pianos anymore.

Because of that I would be delighted to give my license to another user that wants it.

For the price I was thinking something like 200 Euros.

If you have any questions feel free to write me.

Best regards

Right now, Standard with three instrument packs is only 195 Euros, because of the summer sale.

Re: Selling my Pianoteq 8 Standard License

Hey thanks for the hint,

in that case I could lower the price to 185 Euros as long as the summer sale is going

Best regards

Here in Germany, Pianoteq 8 Std costs 215.20 € in the summer sale. Interesting…

Hi Jale,
Since buying a second hand license means the buyer cannot sell that license on again I suggest you move a bit more on that if you want to sell it during the sale!
Good luck.

I made a mistake, translating euros into US dollars, because I live in the US. I believe Pianoteq charges the same number dollars as euros. So Germany isnt being charged more. Still, the price quoted for the resale was so close to the discounted price that it seemed unlikely anyone would want it. Buying new lets you choose your instruments and you can resell it if you ever need to. I bought used, and later upgraded to Studio. I'd never sell mine, but I wouldn't have bought used at that price even though I love those instruments. I recently saw one that sold used for $155, if I remember correctly, and I think it was with four instruments. There is usually a significant discount. Plus, there is the question of who pays the transfer fee to Modartt.

Hey thanks for your thoughts on this.

I don't want to argue with you because everyone can have their own opinion on this.

I think at a 26% discount this is a good price for a product that doesn't degrade and has the same value as when I bought it for 250 Euros.

Best regards

Yes, it's always a matter of what a willing buyer will pay a willing seller. I did buy mine in a resale, through this forum.
