In order to create / port a version of organteq 2 for the ipad, we have to consider a number of things. Firstly, the audio engine used in iOS is different to that of MacOS, MacOS can support multi-channel complex audio systems, at present, iOS can't and I'm not sure if that will be addressed, the only way to do that is submit feedback constantly to apple's iOS / iPad OS development areas and push for multi-channel audio support for larger audio interfaces, as at present you'd be lucky if you could get a 4 channel to behave, it doesn't, just crashes and that is iOS's fault.
Processing power for the iPad is limited compared to that of a desktop, unless you're using an ipad pro like myself for development and instrument use. Organteq would need specific GUI reworking to make it a usable instrument, but if you think of a 3 manual + pedal division console running a maximum 50 stops at full tutti then there's a bit of processing involved.
I admit that I'd love to witness this happen and would give anything for it to do so, but organteq 2 for MacOS is just something else, a real game changer for me and a joy to have been involved in, etc.
