Topic: Pianoteq, iPad and Yamaha CLP 745 - audio routing question
I have just tried out the Pianoteq app on my 2022 iPad using an USB2Lightning adapter with a M-Audio Keystation 88 connected via USB. It works awesome and I really like the fact I do no longer have to have my notebook at my side when I play. I am currently listening with headphones on my iPad and it sounds fine so far.
I am about to buy a CLP-745 soon and I wonder if the following setup is possible with that digital piano:
Playing on the CLP-745 -> MIDI over Bluetooth-MIDI to the iPad (or still USB2Lightning if need be) -> modeling with PQ8 -> feeding back the audio from headphone jack out to -> AUX in on the CLP-745.
The thing is, using that setup I would like NOT to hear the built-in Clavinova samples when I play (i.e. play silent) but just the AUX in signal, which would then be the rendered audio from PQ. So basically I would just use the CLP-745 as MIDI input and audio out then.
Is this setup possible? Can I control the AUX in volume independently from the sound I produce on the piano itself? (100% vs. 0%)
Thanks!
