Topic: New recordings of Southam, Vine, Takemitsu and Marcello

Dear All,

I've recently made recordings of the following works:

Ann Southam, Simple Lines of Enquiry (2007): https://soundcloud.com/jan-van-dijkhuiz...e-lines-of
I've so far recorded the first three movements. More to follow in the next few weeks.

Carl Vine, Five Bagatelles (1994): https://soundcloud.com/jan-van-dijkhuiz...piano-1994

Tōru Takemitsu, Rain Tree Sketch II (In Memoriam Olivier Messiaen) (1992): https://soundcloud.com/jan-van-dijkhuiz...-sketch-ii

Alessandro Marcello, Adagio from the concerto for oboe, strings and continuo (S D935), arranged for the keyboard by Johann Sebastian Bach: Alessandro Marcello: https://soundcloud.com/jan-van-dijkhuiz...rr-js-bach

The preset used for all of the recordings is a slightly adapted version of the K2 Warm, with an external reverb and some gentle limiting in Izotope Ozone.

Best wishes,

Pianophile

Thanks so much, Budo! Vine and Takemitsu are wonderful composers so I'm glad I've been able to introduce you to them!
