Thank you miiindbullets. Very nice test, Erhu. How many different sounds are there?
And have to say, I like your videos as they are filmed from exactly this angle.
Keep going! Waiting for more

Best wishes,

Magical sounds -- love how you work, hooking up velocity triggers for the accompanying Erhu.

Luscious and relaxing..

also just pasting the link you provided in the info for that YouTube which sends viewers to your other video about customizing Pianoteq (Mistral).. it think that one is also greatly inspiring.

(if you posted that elsewhere in the forum. If so, I missed it - hoping nobody minds finding it here too)

Thank you!

this is very cool.  that does look like a fun instrument to play around with.  some very nice piano voicings too ... lots of nice choices of intervals.

Re: Pianoteq - Improv with an Erhu

Thank you all so much for your kind comments! It is a very fun and relaxing pairing. Stig, I believe there are 4 different velocity layers on most of the articulations and sound effects, although some (like knocking on the body of the Erhu) sound like they just have 2.

Qexl, thanks for sharing that other video here, too! Pianoteq's ability to change its voicing so dramatically within a single patch is really something special!

Agree with all the members. Very nice !  I could imagine this in a Metheny album...
