Topic: New bach video Invention n 2 in C minor BWV 773

Bach Invention n 2 in C minor for BWV 773 puzzled several Bach scholars : it's described, on one hand, as "passionate and eager"  and "laughing and happy"  while on the other hand others call it "composed" and "impertubable" or "contemplative".

I hope you'll like it!

Enjoy your listening.

My actual setting is:

Played on Yamaha P125 piano stage                                          Video Recording Samsung Galaxy A54.

Dear carmelo! Nice performance again. I’m glad for not hurrying it, tempo is perfect. Some players on yt probably think to have a formula race just because it's sixteenth notes, (well just what I think, no harm meant).
When you play, I feel like I'm transported back in time so wonderfully. And always like your long ending chord.
btw, I think too as someone said, that the beginning is like Chopin - Piano Sonata No.1 Op.4 in C minor !
Always waiting for next upload. Thank you carmelo.

Best wishes,

Stig

Thank you so much Stig for your comment and for your never ending support !
I played this piece in a fairly classical manner, very much in keeping with established tradition. I've also listened to many very fast performances of the piece and found them unappealing, at least to my taste. Regarding the parallel with the beginning of Chopin's First Sonata in C, Op. 4 (which I listened to again to respond to you), besides the key being the same, there may be a similarity in character, but ultimately they are very different pieces.
Thanks again for your support; the next piece will be released soon.
Greetings from Italy
