Topic: Wij Gaan Naar De Italiaan (Pianoteq)

here's another tune by Misha Mengelberg, "Wij Gaan Naar De Italiaan." it's also attributed to Andrea Mengelberg, who i assume must have been Misha's child.  it sounds a lot like a song one would make up to try to keep an antsy kid quiet during a long interminable vacation drive.  it also apparently has a lyric, unfortunately not recorded on this lead sheet.

Thank you budo for sharing this one. I especially like the section about 2,32 - 3,14.  Good speed and you get carried away - wow!
And nice ending. Sometimes you make a stop, short pause,4,10,  and then coming "something" and the lonely last tone - bang. Nice!

btw you said you are waiting for more of my "creations". Well, here is one for you, enjoy!

thank you Stig for listening and your comments.  i relistened to that section to see what you had in mind and yes it does sound like things got a bit carried away the last little bump one often hears at the end of tunes is called a "button", at least in English and among people doing musical theater.  maybe it's called something else in Finnish

"Swingy" and well played, as usual. I hear a Mingus vibe.
