Topic: GarageBand Issue
I just downloaded Pianoteq, because I love the clarity, depth and realism in the sounds.
When I try to play and record in GarageBand, it sounds "muddier" and not as dynamic.
What am I doing wrong?

Hello RobbieB and welcome to the forum,
I am a Garageband user too, have a bit older version, 10.3.5 2014-2020.
But I can think of keyboard sensitivity - under the tracks there is a slider, Keyboard sensitivity, with neutral , more, less, moving right or left. Moving left sound is a bit ”muddier for me using M-Audio 88, try right when playing. Or check velocity curve, or check equalizer.
Might help or not.
What keyboard are you using?
Best wishes,
Stig
Ok, thanks, Stig!
I'll try that and see what it does!
Sorry, you asked what keyboard I'm using...it's a cheapo, at the moment. A Yamaha EW400
