Interesting test. First one slow, second one a bit faster. In Trouble,    i can hear to left, sound that is a bit like a harpsichord, low tones. nice.

As an experimenter I like this sound I have myself several pieces where I detune, modify pianos, for a change. Attached one.
As a teacher in schools (7 - 13 years old) I ended up accompanying school songs on very out-of-tune pianos. Your music partly brings my thoughts there, but still I like your sound. In my own school we had three pianos and I had a piano tuner once a year all the time.

I experimented with the pupils in many ways, we put many ”pins” needles on the hammers to get a Honky Tonky piano or harpsichord sound, pupils loved my different experiments in music…..lessons.

I like these kind of experiments. Bravo ken! The world is full of different sounds and sometimes we manage to create something new that no one has heard of,   like you here now,   with brainstorming and flowing creativity that inspires others to do more. Thank you ken!

Thank you for having a listen and your feedback!  This was a lot of fun and I'm already working on my next one. You were right that Pianoteq has a very large range that is outside of the normal range of most of their presets. I think the one on the left you were referring to was a 3 layer instrument with the Cimbalom pretty much taking over the sound. On the right I also took the "ruined" preset and further ruined it but I think it was so far ruined it sounded less out of tune and more as sound effects.

Thanks for the share of your Honky Tonk experiment, it it both fun and interesting to push some things, especially if one listens to a lot of standard piano sounds. Maybe some of these remind me of my childhood where we had a piano that I believed was tuned just once my entire childhood.
