Here is another folk song improvisation as requested Steinway B Improv

Tune from Utanmyra (Visa från Utanmyra, O tysta ensamhet, Utanmyra being a location in the province of Dalarna, Sweden).
A Swedish folk song. Just how old the song is is unknown. An early version was titled O Tysta Ensamhet, in English would translate O Silent Solitude.
Improvising I tried to create some new rhytms and harmonies and totally mix it up in contrast, different harmonic flavours - it makes the music surprising, because one don’t expect it.

You might think I'm going too far away from the melody but - Well, this way this time

https://youtu.be/gTZWSDKOp2A

I had an impro on this tune with Organteq earlier:

https://forum.modartt.com/viewtopic.php?id=9155

All the best, everyone

Stig
