Serious entry, very different from your previous years submissions. I'd like to hear more classical music from you M. Nicault.

We must be on the eve of a revolution...
And the last contestant started it ...  by turning 90 degrees counterclockwise.... Great music !

Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2015 - ENTRIES

Hi, I have posted my video entry before midnight (on France) or before 6pm on Lima -Peru.

I was wondering when or if are you going to update the entries on the Entres web page, since I am not seeing mine (or the one that came before me) on the aforementioned page.

Thanks in advance for any response.

Sincerely,

Gabriel I.

Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2015 - ENTRIES

Hello Pianoteq users,

this is my entry for the video contest 2015. Just a little late-night improvisation on a well-known harmony which really was fun with Pianoteq 5.

I am using a customized version of the "D4 Jazz Recording AB" preset. The impulse response used for the convolution reverb is the St. Nicolaes Church.

Hopefully some of you like it. :-)

Cheers
Daniel

And here is mine:

Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2015 - ENTRIES

I composed that specifically for Pianoteq using the new Pianet N, modified a good bit to give a larger dynamic range and broader timbre range. This is only my second composition specifically for "synthesizer."

Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2015 - ENTRIES

That's incredible and very funny, Giwasaki post the same piece of Chopin as me, just after my entry  !!
I like his version and I know one of my vote.

Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2015 - ENTRIES

Dear guys @ pianoteq.

I don't understand why my entry doesn't show up at the contest voting site.
Do you guys make a pre-selection, and if so, why didn't mine qualify?

Personally I'm not a big fan of jazz and I could not find any other classical recording on your YouTube page except this recent one. What I like a lot about this recent entry is a kind of very natural flow of the music which is so rare this days in my opinion. Everybody "perform" or "fight" or whatever, nobody actually "play", kind of

I think you should not worry, it is just started and I guess the webpage is in progress right now, there are several more videos not included yet. I't not so cool actually because in theory some people may already visit the page and vote for their 3 favorites but without taking in account yours and several others videos.

Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2015 - ENTRIES

Thank you everyone for your participation!

I notice there are 31 entries this year, which must be a record!

If there is any entry that does not appear on the voting page, please let me know. What I can see right now, all entries are there. Please note that the entries are not listed in chronological order.

Re: PIANOTEQ VIDEO CONTEST 2015 - ENTRIES

Hi Niclas et al . . . I would like to propose an addendum to the winners list:

     1)  In addition to the three winners that there is a vote for three Honorable Mention candidates

     2)  list the three Honorable Mention candidates in alphabetical order on the final results page

Regards,  Lanny
